As you have probably noticed my name is Marek Kumpoššt.

I was born in Hradec Králové (East Bohemia); Czech republic. I used to live in Česká Skalice but my current place of living is in Brno (South Moravia) where I'm studying at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University. I have finished both bachelor and master degree at this faculty (focusing on Hash functions and security in Wireless networks). I finished my Ph.D. degree at the same faculty, focusing on selected aspects in privacy protection, user profiling, reputation systems and trust management. I'm also a member of BUSLab group. And I work as assistant at the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology. If you are interested in my CV just mail me then. I have one brother (his name is Peter) who is currently doing his Ph.D. at the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, Czech Technical University in Prague. My life would be gray and flat without my girlfriend Markétka. She is the best girl I could ever imagine...

My hobbies:
  • some sports (tennis, florbal, (indoor/outdoor) cycling, in-line skating)
  • GSM technologies and gadgets
  • white wine, port wine, whisk(e)y and of course a good Czech beeeer :-)
  • paintball and kart races

  • computer games (but I don't have enought time for them now and very powerful machine as well :-( My favourite game is Mafia - the best game that I've ever seen
  • series that I like most ;-) Friends, Red Dwarf, M.A.S.H.
  • my favourite musical groups are Queen, Beatles, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, Olympic, Kabát and many others ;-)
  • last but not least - I like Arthur C. Clark's books very much
